1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Companies Connected Consulting (VAT: 111563326), Maršala Birjuzova 39/10, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia. For any questions regarding data protection, you can write to us at info@companiesconnected.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide to us yourself through the forms on the website:

  • Contact form: full name, company name, email address, phone (optional), role, topic and message.
  • Newsletter signup: email address.

We do not collect special categories of data and do not request data that isn't necessary to respond to your enquiry.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We use the data solely to: respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation; and, if you have subscribed, send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (which you give by submitting the form), or taking steps at your request prior to any agreement to work together.

4. Processors and data sharing

To receive messages from the forms we use the FormSubmit service, which forwards the form content to our email address. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Our website is hosted by a hosting provider that processes technical logs for the purpose of running the website.

5. Data retention

We keep the data from enquiries for as long as necessary to respond and, if a collaboration begins, for its duration and within the statutory periods. We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

At any time you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, delete data, restrict processing and withdraw consent. You can send a request to info@companiesconnected.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

7. Cookies

The website does not load Google Analytics or set Google Analytics cookies until you choose “Accept analytics”. If you accept, GA4 may process data such as pages viewed, session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and a pseudonymous client identifier from the _ga cookie. Google states that for traffic from the EU, Switzerland and the United Kingdom it does not log or store individual IP addresses. We store your choice locally in your browser (localStorage). You can change your decision via the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of every page. Rejecting analytics does not affect the basic operation of the site. Withdrawing consent prevents future analytics tracking and deletes the available Google Analytics cookies. More on how Google processes data: policies.google.com/privacy, and Google also offers an opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
